I already found many users asking the same, but they didn't get a reply.... at least I didn't see any.

I want to protect my password memory with a master password - fine. But in 99% of my time, I don't need to enter login data. Even worse, if FF starts on an "invisible" monitor, I cannot move the window.

Is there a way to have FF prompt only for the password if I attempt to log into a site ? ... it already does that when I cancel the start-up prompt.... so is there an "auto cancel at startup ?"

Recently on my iPad and iPhone, clicking valid links in either my browser (Firefox) or e-mail (Outlook), a new tab will open to the “about:blank” page, and nothing more.

Hi, all of my passwords and usernames have been deleted. When I go to the passwords section of my account all that is listed is the web addresses. The usernames and passwords are blank! HELP!

Can you recommend some kind of extension thet will only check current icons for the bookmarks? Just that. I don't need duplicate bookmarks checker, inactice checker and God knows what else checker. Just icons, that's good enough for me.

Title. Thunderbird is a really cool client but it's pretty slow. I blame that on the thousands upon thousands of emails that my hotmail and gmail each hold. I don't necessarily want to delete these emails, but I have seldom a reason to have any email older than 2 months in my thunderbird client slowing and crashing the program whenever I want to combine inboxes.

To this end I went to "Synchronization & Storage" and told it to "Synchronize the most recent 2 months" but it didn't delete the huge cluster of older emails. The next option is to tell TB to delete these emails in the same menu but as I understand it that would also delete them in the server, which I don't want to do for posteriority.

What do I do?

Hello! I synced my browsing data yesterday by signing in to firefox account and reset my OS(window 10) to improve my laptop's speed. When I am trying to get back my browsing data back after resetting and installing firefox by signing in to my firefox account and pressing the Sync Now button then its not giving me my browsing data back. Why is it so? Need Help. Thank You!!

I have includes 4 different email adresses in Thunderbird. All of them as IMAP. All the time everthing works fine, but for the last 2 weeks Thinderbird doesnt syncronize correctly.

For example: Thunderbird sees, that there are 8 unread messages in inbox, but at the same time Thunderbird does show me only 5 of them in the inbox. (When I login the the eMail-provider then there are all the 8 messages)

The "repair"-tool did not help so far. Diffrent mail-adresses show similar behavior.

I need a good idea.

The attendees I select are not receiving their invites to my calendar events. My version of Thunderbird (TB) is 115.9.0 (64-bit). I check my sent folder and it does not send. Older versions of TB, the Calendar invite worked and I can see it was sent from the sent folder. Please note that I am not tech savvy and I need a solution that an average person can employ. If someone has a solution, please get it in step by step instructions and assume I know next to nothing.

Some websites still managed to smuggle in popups despite all the blockings. I use as add-ons: privacy badger, no-script, ublock origin and recently tried popup blocker (strict) and even have the 'block pop-up windows' enabled. I also tried to fiddle around in ´about:config´ but nothing helps. I think it's a recent occurrence as I don't remember having this problem, let's say, a couple of months ago.

The funny thing is that this problem doesn't occur in opera-browser (in which I hardly use extensions).

The websites that this occurs are: arabicpost.net (a pop-up will occur about 10 sec after right-clicking a new tab). focus.de (a video pop-up will occur if there's a video in it). Again opera-browser blocks all of this. I expect there will be other websites to add in the future.

As 99% of users hate threading, myself included, why don't you just change the default to no threading?

I have looked at a lot of the answers to previous questions on this subject and none of them work. One has a supposed video to help but that relates to Gmail and is not understandable. Perhaps you want us to all use Gmail. I have looked the article "Message threading in Thunderbird - keep messages grouped by conversation" but that is useless and the suggested method of stopping threading doesn't work.

Please change the default!!

Currently, I use Firefox version: 116.0.2 or v117.0 on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS.

I encountered a phenomenon like this:

• When I logged in to the application, in the tab I was working on, the Firefox session memory was lost (don't open new tabs)

Steps: 1. Login to the application 2. Operate on the screen 3. Navigate to other URLs, but still on this tab 4. Session storage was lost

What is the cause of this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

I can’t find a password I just saved onto Firefox in Passwords . When I search for the site in Passwords it says there is no matching login and provides no password.

Firefox works great on every other video site. But Youtube will not show or play video. I have refreshed Firefox, disabled add on. Restarted my computer, tested all hardware. No Bueno...

Hello, I've installed Firefox twice in the last couple of days (Windows 10 - I think) and I continue to receive messages that say I need to install the latest version.

Do you issue updates daily, or is there something wrong with my Firefox installation or is it something else?
