When I'm in Firefox watching videos on Youtube or listening Soundcloud and trying to increase volume with the standard shortkey (fn+f12) on my Asus Zenbook, this causes tab to go back one page. However I noticed this happens right at the moment when I'm pressing the combination, so if I'm pushing the buttons continiously it happens only once. Seems, that I have no such a problem in other apps. Firefox is up to date ( ver 70.0.1 on Dec 1st 2019). Laptop model UX410UAR, running Win 10. I also have Autohotkey running in the background to hold absent numpad keys. However turning it off doesn't change the behaviour. Any advise, please?

Why do I need to click 3 times additionally for something I have exactly zero, zip, null, no influence over whatsoever? Speaking about user friendliness, this is NOT it. Apart from downgrading or reverting to another browser that has not implemented this ridiculous anti-user-friendiness measure, what can I do?

My OS = Linux Mint 19.2 Tina 64-bit, Kernel Linux 4.15.0-70-generic x86_64, MATE 1.22.0. Just updated my trusted Thunderbird of many years, to the latest version, via the Linux updates portal, and to my utter dismay the Wallnut 2 Complete Theme is no longer compatible! After searching in Thunderbird Complete Themes for a similar complete theme, there is absolutely nothing that is compatible/suitable for this last version of Thunderbird. The 3 basic default themes are either too hard on the eyes in brightness or too black. While I'm not seeking 50 shades of grey, a light, medium or dark range of 'Default Themes' would have been a more practical set of option, surely. Is there any way that I could tickle the 'Dragons' settings to either get a 'Battleship Grey' complete theme or is it just a case of waiting for a 'Mozillian Magician' to program an updated version of the beautiful Walnut 2 theme? BTW, Have A Very Joyful Festive Season to each and everyone of you.

When I do a search ( say Adolf Hitler) it comes up mostly in German. I do no German. I deleted the browser and reloaded - no change
the question pretty much is the problem, but if I search using Safari then there is no German.

I'm using Firefox 67.0 under MX Linux. My monitor is 25" with a resolution of 1920x1200. With this resolution, the text and icons in Firefox Menu and Toolbars are tiny and almost impossible to read. The Thunderbird add-on Theme and Font Size Changer works reasonably well for Thunderbird, so is there a corresponding add-on for Firefox?
I know that Firefox is largely developed by people who are volunteers, but it seems that a tool, as part of the basic Firefox program, should be available to make these changes without installing add-ons or modifying the code manually. Almost everyone needs to be able to tweak these things at one time or another.

Menus on Firefox itself are displaying in my native language, when I've set them to English.
I've uninstalled all language packs that aren't English, even removed other languages in Windows settings to make sure Firefox displays menus in the language I want, but none of it worked. Already checked about:config and removed any traces of other languages. The settings page itself and other Mozilla webpages are all displaying in the correct language, but the application itself is not.
It started doing this after the most recent update, was working fine before. Only explanation is Firefox is using my location to set a language and completely ignoring my language settings. Should I just wait for it to be fixed?

Hi, I've read multiple questions about people deleting accounts and/or trying to get their emails back so I assume deleting an account from Thunderbird also removes the emails associated with that account. So my question is, how can I get rid of an account without deleting any emails?
I don't care if the account remains. I'm just trying to remove this account I no longer use from the "Get Messages" button so it doesn't pop up with an error every time I check my other email account.

She needs to use that shortcut for a web-based application and every time she uses that shortcut a new tab opens instead of applying the shortcut to the application. I have combed the shortcuts and the about:config page with no luck. Do you know of a way to unbind ctrl-n or disable it completely from Firefox?
