Hello, It seems that my Firefox Browser upgraded itself and has a different look now, precisely speaking, my browser looks like beta version now. Earlier in the past, I downloaded Beta but I was disappointed because I COULD NOT FIND OR SEE MY BOOKMARKS.. Sadly and annoyingly, same thing happened now! I have lost all my bookmarks and bookmark folders. I would be grateful if you could please help me get my bookmarks back. Regards, HAKAN [email]

If I set the Menu + Desktop Site toggle, then select a bookmark, the Desktop Site toggle is ignored, and reset.

This makes it impossible to load a bookmark targeted for a desktop site.

Thanks in advance for your attention to this oversight.

Hello,

I'm using Firefox Nightly and it just updated to 84.0a1 (2020-10-30) (64-bit). With this update, the "Other Bookmarks" folder appears on the Bookmarks Toolbar. It's situated on the far right, after the 2 right arrows that show the rest on the bookmarks from the toolbar. I've looked into the settings to see if this new addition can be hidden or removed, but I couldn't find anything. Can somebody tell me how I can hide it ?

Thank you, Flavius

My bookmarks have been lost. I think they're gone forever. I really needed them for work. A certain person hacked into my 1password account. I know it's "impossible" but not if someone knows you and is determined and smart. Anyway, he changed the email associated with my account, but not the password. I was logging in, and was prompted to enter the "original" email. Huh? I tried various ways to access my account to no avail. I had a recovery key, but no place to enter it. A different email worked. But my bookmarks are gone. Any ideas on how i can recover them?

With the 'Show all Bookmarks' page open on my MAC desktop monitor screen i accidentally deleted all of my bookmark folders (listed alphabetically) following those beginning with the letter 'P'. I am in REAL trouble unless i can restore those deleted folders to the active list.

i tried following the suggestion that i open up my 'profile' in 'Library' and i found the deletedbookmarks file. But that file seems just to list deleted bookmarks by recent dates.. Whereas I need to restore the list of deleted bookmark FOLDERS to my active bookmark list and status.

I hope someone can help me. I'd be willing to provide a telephone number, though I guess that's generally inadvisable. Otherwise my e-mail address -- which you may already have -- is xxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.xxx

Thank you for any help.

How do I get rid of the extremely annoying and useless "Other Bookmarks" folder which I NEVER use? This forum is misleading because it says only 3 people have this problem. I'm sure there are many thousands but it is almost impossible to comment or reply. It was a major puzzle for me to get this far. Firefox should to make a simple list of bookmarks available, when you have the Bookmarks symbol on the toolbar. It should be the default instead of hiding them in "other folders". If someone wants to make it more complex they easily can add folders. The default now is too complex and difficult to change. Every time I need to add the Firefox browser to a new operating system I need to do extensive research and fiddling just to simplify because I cannot remember the gymnastics I had to go through the last time. This time it made me so exasperated I nearly gave up went to Edge.
