If any credit card transaction have been posted to my account, I export these records to my quicken file and update my credit card account. Today I requested my QFX records (Quicken format) from Capital One and received QBO (Quick Books) and CSV (Excel-Comma Separated) format records. Separate requests returned different record formats. I ran the same process on a Chrome browser and everything worked as it should (returned my dated QFX format records). I think that I updated to 69.0.1 version today and while not sure, I think it was before I attempted to export records process. I also exported records from Chase Bank (Credit cards records- QFX format) in the updated Firefox version. I have a work around in that I can run this process on Chrome but prefer and do all of my work on Firefox normally. Not a crisis or emergency but I thought I would make someone aware the problem existed. Capital One said no one else has reported the problem but if it is related to the 69.0.1 version that may simply be a timing issue.

Firefox proceeds to clean/delete the cache files at certain time intervals, the assigned size limit in the setting outlined below do not seem to affect this behavior. This forces me to reload some websites with allot of content to go through because the websites fails to read the cached content as I progress, as those cached files have been deleted by Firefox. I have not changed the tab during the cleaning or restarted the browser or anything else that might reasonably trigger such cleaning behavior. Firefox seems to do it based on a time interval.
I have altered these settings without any success:
browser.cache.disk.capacity
browser.cache.disk.smart_size.enabled
Is there any way to control this behavior or will I have to keep reloading the websites?
I have a bookmark that I keep deleting but it has come back with over 1300 copies of itself. How can I fix this?
Its just one of my bookmarks but everyday for the last few weeks I have to delete 1000s of copies of this old bookmark.

When I type a search in the 'Type here to search' window, MS Explorer opens with a Bing search result.
How do I get the thing to stop opening Explorer and simply open FF?
And again, Firefox is absolutely set as my default (menu/options/'smiley' Firefox is currently your default browser)

I just signed up with my email address and noticed that my user name automatically became the local part of the mail address (localpart@domain). The user name cannot be changed.
That's a huge privacy issue because my account is forcibly named after my real name because of my email address. I do not want that to be public! I don't understand why this decision was made by Mozilla, when the first thing you see on firefox.com is the slogen: "And start getting the respect you deserve with our family of privacy-first products."
I know that I can change the display name, but you can still see my real name in the profile URL and on my profile page itself.

I am able to change the cut of the pieces using other browsers. I have been through help on their website without a solution to this issue. I think it is a Firefox issue since every other browser works fine.

I tried those actions, and none of them seem to fix this issue.
Based on my personal usage since the update to 69.0, this issue currently seems to only apply to Gmail.
This function seems to work fine on other web pages/sources.

I like to read news online from sites like: Foxnews, CNN, CBS, WSJ etc., and I have limited data available (Metered Service). On almost all of these sites I was able to stop auto play of the video by disabling auto play options, and adding disable HTML5 auto play extension when some sites managed to bypass the disabled auto play option. However, that didn't stop the sites from downloading the videos. I've tried everything that I've found online: content blocker, no script extensions, etc., but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know if there's an answer or a solution to this problem, or will I just have to limit my online site visits as some other forums suggest?

When I click a link in an email and it opens in Firefox, my bookmarks are not available (the Bookmarks toolbar has getting started in it, the Bookmarks menu has the standard Mozilla Firefox folder and nothing in Other Bookmarks). If I click on my Firefox icon in my taskbar the window that opens has all my bookmarks available. Any suggestions as to what setting need to be changed so that no matter where Firefox opens from the Bookmarks are available?

On Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), I run Firefox (64-bit) and Thunderbird (32-bit), each with two profiles.
Until this afternoon, when Firefox updated to 67.0, clicking on a link in Thunderbird would open a new tab in the currently running instance of Firefox. If Firefox was not running, it would open "Profile 1."
Now, Thunderbird will only open links in my "Profile 1" Firefox. If I have "Profile 2" running, Thunderbird ignores it and starts a new instance of Firefox using "Profile 1." With both instances running, Thunderbird opens a new tab in the "Profile 1" instance.
I updated to Thunderbird 60.7.0 (32-bit), but it did not change the behaviour. So, this seems to be a Firefox change. Is there a way to go back to having the running Firefox instance handle the external launch of links?
This is the behaviour that I want: clicking on a link, anywhere, will open it in a new tab in the currently running Firefox profile, only opening the default profile if Firefox is not yet running.

Now I get an error saying Firefox can't be downloaded because its missing a file. Worse off than when I started many hour ago. Firefox won't load on my new laptop at all.

I have 6 websites that automatically add the sites to my bookmarks, even when I am not on the site. I went there once and somehow they are populating my bookmarks with 100s of each site. Also, my folders are being duplicated. The attached image shows a sample of my bookmarks. When I set my mouse on the down arrow to scroll to the end, it takes 115 seconds to roll to the end at about 3 seconds per 40-line page scrolled. Current rough estimate is over 1600 bookmark/folder items. I went thru the editing 2 weeks ago, removing all unwanted bookmarks & folders.
