I need to know what anti-virus protection is the best and compatible with Firefox. I recently downloaded Total AV but it is no longer supported by Firefox.
My Norton security is quarantining any search I try and do on Firefox, stops it as soon as I press enter?

I got the new FF update this morning and noticed shortly after when i got back online a bd_config.cfg file popped up onto my desktop windows 10. I deleted it not thinking anything about it and when back online again and it popped up again in fact everytime i did this it popped up no matter what i did and went online.
It has something to do with BitDefender i figured out uninstalled bit defender re installed it no luck
Refreshed\Reset Firefox with no luck either.
How do I stop Mcafee pop ups?

I can navigate any webpage without problems or restrictions, but once I connect to the VPN, I can have access to anything.

Jetzt hatte ich die Meldung erhalten " der Treiber cpuz419_x64.sys konnte nicht installiert werden wegen möglicher Virus-Gefährdung", als Abhilfe wurde angeboten die Ker-Sicherung auszuschlaten. Das habe ich mir nicht getraut. Als weitere Info erschien eine Seite, auf der "Windows10" unterstrichen war. Könnte das alte Profil dem Rechner vorgaukeln, dass ich Windows 10 nutze?bold text

I use Adguard app for Windows which causes long page loading times in Firefox due to extended TLS Handshakes. I have installed the Adguard certificate in Firefox, have turned off DOH in Firefox, etc. etc. but, the only way that I can get a page to load in a timely manner is by clicking on "reload current page" twice in Firefox. This is a delay in itself and is very inconvenient. I understand that the incompatibility of Firefox with Adguard is a known problem and am wondering whether Mozilla is working on a solution in cooperation with Adguard?

I have been unable to access any secure sites since I installed Norton 360 Antivirus. Whenever I try to access a secure site I receive the reply: Secure Connection Failed Error: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR I have tried all of the repairs listed on the internet but none have corrected the fault. I have also tried disabling Norton but also without success I have also tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox but without success Can you suggest any other methods to correct this fault

The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem.
In an attempt to fix this problem, I have done the following:
None of these steps have fixed the problem??????

Firefox only works properly if my VPN location is in Canada, but I'm in the US. If I switch my VPN to a US location (where I live), Firefox often does not work properly. … (read more)
Firefox only works properly if my VPN location is in Canada, but I'm in the US. If I switch my VPN to a US location (where I live), Firefox often does not work properly. I get news, ads, etc., that assume I'm Canadian. And often a website will not open. I need my VPN location in the US to access any site I normally do.
