For the last little while, I've been getting (extremely annoying) pop-up error messages that say "[JavaScript Application]" across the heading bar and "Error" in the text box on certain websites that I frequent which disrupts my ability to view content on the site(s). Because of this happening more and more often, this morning I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled the 64-bit Beta version for Windows 8.1. Since that time (about an hour ago) I've been unable to access/watch video on any sight (youtube, nhl.com, etc) When I try to access a youtube video this message appears:

"The connection has timed out The server at www.youtube.com is taking too long to respond.

   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

I'm a HUGE fan of Firefox, in fact I've haven't used anything else for years (aside from using Explorer to re-download Firefox this morning). This is obviously a big problem though, so how can I fix it?

I have been hijacked by searchfusion. I tried to do a manual delete but did not find the regedit things suggested by a variety of websites. I do not want to download a "fix it" program that I will be charged for or don't trust that they are what they say they are. Can someone please tell me how to get searchfusion out? It is not under programs to be uninstalled on the control panel and does not appear in any searches on my computer so I can delete it. Thanks

Down Then All has worked great. Firefox locked up, I ended it via Windows Task Manager. Upon restarting FireFox 'Down Them All" will only give the message "Loading...". See attached image. I have uninstalled "Down Them ALL" reinstalled, still have the problem. It looks like my image is not uploading. but I can access the web, loaded Rush Limbaugh's web site for example.

I have updated my firefox to the latest, I noticed the settings screen has been updated, but when i change the settings screen using the tab on the left a cursor appears on the screen i know its a silly question but is it possible to disable that behaviour.

Search fusion was not detected by 5 different scanners! I reset Firefox, I used the microsoft scanner that took over 2 hours and even that didn't detect it! Please help me get this thing out of my computer. thank you.

Is there a possibility of having the browser configured to have a speed dial page or desktop that will provide the ability to group similar links into a folder rather than saving them to the phones desktop?

On various occation i have clicked on links in job boards and then multiple tabs are been opened. up to 75 different tabs open up. When i close it and go to Internet Explorer i am able to open these links without any problems.

Zoom out factor is too restrictive.: Firefox for Android renders some complex sites designed for Desktop poorly, Feedly (https://feedly.com/) for example. The problem is there just too many things should be displayed but I cannot zoom out freely because Firefox doesn't allow me to zoom out that much. I've set

zoom.minPercent = 1 browser.ui.zoom.force-user-scalable = true

However, it seems there are other rules that prevent me zoom out more, it is far from the 1%. The attached images are the smallest zoom factor Firefox allowed. I'm using OnePlus One, which has a 5.5" 1080p display.

Please relax the zoom factor if you cannot render all websites well.

In selecting OPTIONS, the page opens with STARTUP/DOWNLOADS/TABS. However, nothing I "click" on with open any of these functions, nor am I able to change the General/Search/Content/etc on the left side of the screen. Any suggestions??

I lost track of exactly when this started happening, but Flash videos (YouTube, etc) all flicker when I watch them on Firefox.

I tried disabling all extensions and all non-Flash plugins but the Cisco H264 codec, but I still get the flickering.

Oddly, if I restart Firefox in safe mode, there is no flickering. Yet, my impressions is that safe mode does nothing but disable all extensions.

Does anyone have any idea of what may be happening?

hey all I need some help. I'm fairly computer literate but my hp envy with windows 8.1 running a shell for the start menu to act like windows 7 keeps making this horrid sound. It happens every 10 minutes. the jing vid plays the sound at about 2:53 second mark. If anyone can help me with this I would be grateful. BTW I have all windows sounds turned off. Sound happens when firefox is connected to internet. I have webroot and spybot so I don't know what this can be but I am losing my mind hearing it. Not joining live hangouts etc because of it. I may have mentioned that this happens in chrome as well but it does not. I have refreshed my firefox and it is a temporary fix. I don't know what the catalyst is that causes it to start again.

That particular page kept appearing when I was viewing a CNET report,andkept reappearing. I could return to continue by hitting the 'back' arrow, but the same thing kept repeating. Other 'false' sites have appeared also, such as to update java, flash, and so on.

Yesterday I reinstalled windows and installed Firefox dev-edition.

when I signed in sync , everything was fine... I saw all my bookmarks and history, addons were installed too...

then I installed kmp player and as I later discovered he brought some unwanted apps like "yandex, iwebar and their company"... that i discovered today, when i went trouble with internet connection...

so i uninstalled that apps and than restored system to yesterday ... internet come back...

but when i reinstalled Firefox and signed in sync , there was nothing...

i tried many ways... installing different versions, creating new profile did nothing...

is possible to get back my sync history or it has gone away already ? please help me...

The web site is for my electric bill. I have to open Safari, and sign in from there. The message I get using Fireox when I put in my user name and password is: Cancel OpenID. The web site is EPB.NET, and they have checked everything on their end and have no suggestions other than it's a browser incompatibility.

Yes, I've deleted cookies, history, cache and such. Yes, I've disabled all extensions.

It has been a problem for months.

Should I just make Safari my default browser?
