My YouTube homepage is blank when I visit using Firefox (see attached screenshot). Here is a list of all of the fixes I have tried:

-Disabling all extensions and turning off Enhanced Tracking Protection (at the same time) -Clearing cache -Clicking 'forget this site' on YouTube in my browser history -Restarting my PC/Firefox -Refreshing Firefox profile (this worked, but the issue returned after an hour) -Changing my system theme to light mode -Launching Firefox in troubleshoot mode -Logging in on an incognito window (with the same result) -Probably some other things I'm missing (I tried pretty much every result I could find from looking up 'YouTube homepage is blank' and 'YouTube homepage not loading).

The issue only occurs on Firefox and only after I log in to YouTube. This has never occurred before. I checked to make sure my Firefox and YouTube settings are the same as they've always been.

YouTube videos load fine as long as I paste the direct link into the URL bar, but ONLY the video (no comments, recommended videos, likes/dislikes, description, etc...) and I can't take it out of theatre mode nor fullscreen it (fullscreening it just removes the top bar of the browser--the video itself still has black bars on the sides).

Sometimes when I reload the page, I see the following at the end of the URL: &ThemeRefresh=1. I don't know if that means anything.

I am using the Firefox app on Windows 11. I am not using a VPN. This issue is specific to YouTube and YouTube only.

In the last few days, after some minutes of usage, parts of Firefox become unclickable:

- I can still click on tabs to change tabs. - When hovering over the cross button to close a tab, it changes appearance as it should. Clicking the button does nothing. Ctrl+w still closes the button. - Clicking on the address bar does nothing. - Cannot click on back, forward, refresh buttons. - Cannot click on any add-ons. - Cannot click on preferences. - Can click on the button to open a new tab. There, I can enter an address. Once the page has loaded, address bar becomes unclickable again. - Bookmarks toolbar is still working as expected. - Keyboard shortcuts (ctrl+t, ctrl-w, ctrl-l) still work as expected.

on Manjaro 25.0.1 with GNOME 48

Anything using WebGL in-browser tells me that my browser doesn't support it.

https://get.webgl.org/ says "Hmm. While your browser seems to support WebGL, it is disabled or unavailable. If possible, please ensure that you are running the latest drivers for your video card." but I updated it to the most recent drivers and the issue is still happening. Graphics card is an AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.

When I open any stream, it takes about 2.5 seconds from the start of the page loading to the appearance of the stream image and playback. For comparison, in version 137 it took about 1.0 seconds.

I tried to launch the browser (Firefox 138.0.1) in troubleshooting mode, and also created a new profile, but the problem remained.

I also downloaded portable versions: 137.0.1 - everything is fine. 138.0 and 140.0a1 - slow loading.

I also have Zen Browser installed (the latest version is based on 138.0.1) - everything is fine.

Nothing happens.

I have tried creating new folders and following those steps. I have tried everything.

Most other forums don't impose this type of limited categorization. What is the best way to proceed here when you topic here doesn't have an obvious fit? This is not uncommon. Should I be concerned that my question won't get to the right eyes/assistance needed?

Some venues offer the ability to add tags. Why not give us the ability to add "tags" if you believe some sort of pre-designation is necessary? Does that qualify for my choosing this topic?

For years I've had my bookmarks arranged in a specific order. The day after the most recent Firefox update I discovered that my bookmarks have somehow been rearranged in alphabetical order.

What caused this to happen and how do I prevent it from happening again?

I have a vivo pad 3, and when I'm using it in landscape mode, the firefox app would only occupy part of the screen, leaving the two sides empty. It used to work fine and I don't know what made it to behave like this since I didn't touch the settings, and no other app is like this.

Using 2025-04 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5055612) Firefox 138.0.1 (64-bit) and says it is up todate. I have looked at the about:config to find the browser.tabs.remote.autostart but it does not exist in the list of processes. I have also unchecked in settings both performance options intermitently to try and correct this problem, but nothing happens: (unchecked) Use recommended performance settings Learn more These settings are tailored to your computer’s hardware and operating system. (Unchecked) Use hardware acceleration when available Nothing pops up to allow choosing a different number as many support articles say. I have AdBlocker running as an add on and turned off the duck duck go privacy essentials and still nothing stops these insane amount of processes clogging up my computer. right now, on this page there is only this tab open and there are 13 processes running. Bei einigen Web-Seiten oder Apps (ich kann es leider nicht näher spezifizieren) werde ich von dem Anbieter obligatorisch nach Benutzername und Kennwort gefragt, die Firefox kennen und vorblenden sollte. Aber dann erscheint über dem Tastatur-Feld meines Android-Smartphones ein Symbol mit einem Fingerabdruck und dem Label "Firefox entsperren". Wenn ich da draufdrücke, geschieht nichts. Was muss ich tun?

For days I have been seeing Firefox be very slow to load a page (as in minutes) or stop working entirely. At the same time Chrome works fine. Mac Mail has become intermittent as well. I have uninstalled Norton products and changed Network proxy settings many times. Nothing helps. I have created new profiles. I switch between profiles. I have hacked into my WiFi router. Nothing, nothing helps. Safari hangs up too. Firefox on my android phone continues to work properly when using my Wifi router -the same router my Mac Studio connects to the internet with. I can access my third party mail service via Firefox on my android phone. Both FireTV devices work. I am at my wit's end. At this point I have shifted all of my work over to Chrome.

I have cleared caches. I have gotten rid of all cookies. I have restarted Firefox and rebooted my computer countless times.

Mac OS Sequoia 15.5 Firefox 138.04

Basically title.

Every time I close the browser and re-open it, the favicons disappear. I use the favicons to navigate to websites on my bookmark toolbar, but they're missing from my regular bookmarks, too.

I found an old thread that appeared similar, and the solution was to take a working copy of the favicons.db file and re-import it if it breaks (while the browser application is closed). However, this did not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The latest firefox update introduced tab groups, something I've been eagerly waiting for ever since chrome released it!

However, my firefox's tab groups don't hide the tabs correctly. In the video demo I see that when you click on the name of the tab group, it should collapse all the tabs and hide them.

In my firefox, when I click the tab group name, the tabs don't get hidden as expected.

I tried disabling all my extensions and restarting firefox, also tried in private mode, and it still was having the same experience.

Are there any about:config settings that I might have accidentally changed that could be causing this?

I am starting to use the new utility which allows me to group tabs. But I would like to see only the name of the group and not the whole list. How can I collapse the list of tabs which belong to a group leaving only the group name shown. Then with a click I should be able to see the corresponding list of tabs if I need it.
