When typing comments on a web blog, after the spacebar is used, the first letter of the next word eliminates the previously typed space. So what I end up with is all words in a sentence running together. Tried other browsers and they work fine. Changed keyboard as well no joy. Typing is normal in applications like adobe, word, etc..... Only happens during Firefox use......... Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, also no help..... How do I fix ?

I had an arrow on the right side of my FF Toolbar for "Other Bookmarks". Recently it went missing. I have many bookmarks under that heading, and can get to them through the Bookmarks Manager, but no arrow on the Toolbar. How can I get it back?

I am running Unix Ubuntu 22.04 with Firefox 104.0.01 (64 bit). My Canon LBP 6230DW works fine in my word processor and in Chrome, but it does not show up in the Printer destination field when I am in Firefox. The only print option is to "Save as PDF." How do I get the Canon to be a print destination in Firefox?

FireFox keeps putting a .jpg at the end of any file I try to download with .exe as its extension and adds a .jpg, example, when I download QU210InstallFiles.exe it changes it to QU210InstallFiles.exe.jpg and I cannot there for install the program because it has the .jpg added to it and it wants to open in windows media viewer instead. It never use to do this, what have you guys done....uuhhhh, any help would be nice and I thank you. Daniel Goggia

My wife has an older Mac. About a week ago, a pop-up from Firefox told her to update her program. She loaded in the new one and when she tried to open it she got the message that her computer was too old for the update.

We had to reload the most recent update which had been running on her computer.

Now, none of her bookmarks show up and the bookmark toolbar will not display near the top of the screen as it used to.

None of help items online are of any use because what they say will show up on the screen (such as when you enter "about:profiles") is not what shows up on her screen.

Is there any way to recover her bookmarks, passwords and other saved data, please?

Skysports.com always asks me to select cookie options. Allow or View options and reject. I always choose the second one. The problem is. I can never choose the options. Opera browser, a better browser than this one, shows the options and allows me to choose. Sky just shows the same box every single page and I have to go through the same sequence every time.

Same problem again with upgrade. After the last upgrade today 9-5-2022 I no longer have video play back on sites such as MSNBC, CNN or Twitter. U-Tube seems to be working fine. I have checked and have version 5.0.1 of ffmpg installed if that helps. And I have turned off ad blockers. Firefox 104.0.1 in Fedora 36 workstation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Getting sick of FireFox, I want to search from the GOOGLE SEARCH BAR, not the address bar, but the settings don't work you can choose to have the search bar next to the address bar, but it doesn't work, the google search bar doesn't work either, no matter what setting, your search ends up in the address bar, with all the updates, they don't fix crap on here, when someone makes a complaint, FIX THE CRAP, I don't need to ask 100 people why it wont work, just FIX IT!!

I did a full reinstall of my Firefox browser because of a problem where it couldn't load some youtube diy videos (that did load in another browser). Before the reinstall I made bookmark and saved logins backups. No problems with backup/restore of bookmarks.

Exporting saved logins works perfectly and I get a readable csv file , but importing simply doesn't work. First of all the import feature was disabled by default (?). After making the change in the settings and restarting Firefox I see the 'import from file' option in the password manager.Big dissapointment however when you click the 'import from file' option and select the exported csv file because nothing happens ! No error, no result,nothing ! I tried several csv files from earlier backups but none work. Google on the other hand can import all of my csv's without any problem ! Any help on that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! In Windows 10 new version 104, .pdf are opening as a download as well as a file. I checked settings, and it still shows that .pdf should open as a file. How do I keep it from becoming a download?

When I click on an article or any link in Outlook, I get an error message that says, Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you. For more info, please contact your help desk. I'm not an 'organization', just a user and obviously there's no help desk to contact, so I thought I'd reach out to see if someone might have a solution to this problem. I have already made sure that my default programs are set to Firefox for my browser and Outlook for my email and made sure all the defaults are selected. I have also run a full windows scan program which came up without any errors and I have run a registry scan that fixed every identified error. I'm still getting the same error message and the only way for me to open up an article or a link from an email is to 'copy hyperlink', open up a new tab in Firefox and select Paste and Go, which is driving me nuts and wasting a ton of time. I don't know what else to do at this point. I did find a document on the internet that has what it says is a method to resolve this exact error message problem, but the instructions are specific to Internet Explorer, not Firefox. I'm hesitant to find those same tools on Firefox (which is quite possible, though some of them are in different places on Firefox than they are on Internet Explorer). My concern comes with the fact that the final step will 'reset' every setting to it's default condition, so it seemed like a good idea to try to get some expert help before I perform such a drastic action. Also, I'm also making the assumption that if I did do a complete reset, I would be able to restore Firefox back via my most recent System Restore and it would bring back all my customizations, browers add-ons, personal settings, home pages history, cookies, privacy settings, etc. - but I'd like someone to weigh in on this. I inadvertently changed the FF Bookmarks OPEN WITH app to Itunes!

I was restoring FF book,marks from 1 desktop to another. Now when i Back up my Bookmarks, it shows TYPE as "Itunes" on my Desktop FF bookmarks folder.

How do i get rid of Itunes for FF bookmarks?

So I can not play audio from any website in firefox. I updated, refreshed, used troubleshoot mode, and unistall & reinstalled. Nothing works. I know it is not my PC because the sound works on every other app, just firefox wont play audio PLEASE HELP

After the introduction of Safari years ago, I have finally recently switched to Firefox. I like it, but the font thing is about to send me packing. I just cannot get a decent automatic display of all websites. I never had an issue with Safari. Example: Gmail's body section is way too small, no matter how much I try to enlarge it, it just doesn't want to enlarge. I mean, this is really a hassle. Is there a simple setting in Firefox that can duplicate Safari's handling of text/fonts? I really would like to use it as my default browser, but it's really getting annoying.

When playing videos, specifically on YouTube, I can see some blocky/pixelated sections in video playback.

Issue is not present on Chromium-based browsers, I've tested in Vivaldi and Chrome. Both are using dav1d.

When AV1 is disabled through "about:config" the issue is gone, but then I face a stuttering problem.

Hello, in YT bar when you change video quality/sound etc, there is something missing.... im not a native english speaker and it is hard to explain this to you, so i have some screens for you to understand it :)

The first screen where the problem is, is in Mozilla Firefox and the second one is in "Opera" and there is no problem with this. I don't know if i did something or it is mozilla problem so please help :)

I need help in solving a problem. Using FIREFOX: When I go onto the Chase web site, it displays my account but will not display the page with my last (or previous) statements. It looks like it is working, but the page remains blank. I was finally told by the Chase help desk to try it with Google Chrome -- and, sure enough, it works. I have checked to see what version of Firefox I have and it is: 104.0.1 (64 bit). It says this is the latest. The Chase person told me that they have had calls from customers using Firefox who had the same problem as me. Is there a fix from Firefox for this problem? In the meantime, I will be forced to use Google Chrome when I want to deal with Chase. By the way, American Express is able to display their statements when I am using Firefox without a problem. Also, I was told to try the Chase APP on my iPhone -- and it works too. It seems there is a problem between Firefox and part of the Chase software.

I have tried every solution I can find to restore tab separators for 104.0.1—no luck at all. This includes modifying userChrome.css, which is enabled in about:config. I feel bad about having to bring this up, as it seems to have been well-discussed already. But I'm pretty much at wit's end. Maybe I missed something? Hoping to stick with FF, which I've been using for many years. The run-together tabs are a real tough one, though.
