When checking out the new features the ' Learn More' link under Tab Groups directs to the article explaining Pinned Tabs, there is no way to get to the explanation about Tab Groups

In an accounting/payroll software application, a new window opens instead of a new tab. How to I fix this?

I've already tried about:config method as well as the simple 'tabs and browsing' method within Firefox settings. Nothing seems to work.

I love the browser and use it daily with Android phone and Linux laptop.

Concerning the new Android version, it is great. But please, bring back the select all tabs function. I like to save and backup my tabs by sharing them externally, and selecting them one by one is a very slow process.

How can I expand horizontal pinned tabs? This tiny icons that now appear are useless, especially if you want multiple Google tabs, i.e. for search, maps, mail, they all appear as the Google "G"

I can not seem to find the button to open a saved, closed tab group. I have googled, and there seems to be a lot of people with the same issue. However, None of the information given under those forums provides me with a clear, easy solution. Please help.

In Firefox 152.0.5 under Windows 10, when I hover the mouse pointer over a tab, a balloon pops up showing the text that is on the tab. I find this extremely annoying as I can read what is on the tab. I have searched on the Mozilla site, and I have searched with Google, all to no avail. How can I disable those redundant popup balloons?

Firefox opens as it should but it opens with two additional tabs showing. How do I prevent this. What setting/s do I manipulate to prevent opening multiple tabs on start up? windows 11 / HP Omnibook, new purchase initial set up of FireFox.

Last night Firefox on my laptop performed an automatic Firefox update.. The Firefox that was installed can only display a single tab. This is a major for me, since I normally work with multiple tabs. This problem may impact a large number of Firefox users. The documented recommended fix for this problem did not fix the problem.

I've been trying to move off from Chrome to FireFox (FF) since FF is superior in many ways but it's been very hard since FF doesn't have the sub-tab groupings like Chrome does to help with organizing my open tabs.

It's easier for me to move from Chrome to Edge browser instead of FF.

Can Mozilla FF add this "sub-tab groupings" feature please ASAP to help me and millions others move on from all Chromium based browsers?

The 'Open Private Browsing' shortcut from the app icon has been broken for years. Long-press on the Firefox icon → "New Private Tab" → it opens a normal tab instead.

Once inside the app, it now takes five taps just to start typing in a private tab:

Open Firefox Tap the tabs icon in the bottom-right Tap the mask/private icon at the top Tap the "+" to open a new private tab Tap one last time on the address bar to actually start typing

Address bar autocomplete doesn't work at all — not even for bookmarks or sites you visit often. You have to type the full URL every single time, including dots, hyphens and the extension. This causes constant typing mistakes.

You also can't open any bookmark directly into a private tab.

Private browsing has become so frustrating that it's basically unusable, and this has been going on for years. Private mode is one of Firefox’s most important features. These basic issues really need to be fixed.

7/7/2026 Last night Firefox on my laptop performed an automatic update to the latest Firefox version. The new Firefox has a very bad setting in about;config .. this new Firefox can only show 1 tab ... it is opening up a new tab on top of the first tab, making it impossible to have more than 1 tab ..

This is going cause problems for thousands of Firefox users .. . how I fix this problem ... I tried setting the add tab settings into about;config to add a new tab to the right of the current tab, but my change made no difference ... how can I fix this problem ... does Firefox have a plan on how to fix for this problem for thousands of Firefox users.. this problem will impact thousands of Firefox users..

I cannot group tabs on Firefox android (mobile). I am on version 152.0.4. Whenever I try to group tabs by hovering one tab over another, it just shifts the other tab away. Theres also no selection for making a group when I press select tabs. I tries everything; from going to chrome://geckoview/content/config.xhtml (there was no setting for browser.tabs.groups.enabled) to going into secret settings and pressing control for tab groups android rollout. (I asked AI for help and followed close to all of its steps) Please help!

In the past, when I would click on a link on my home page, the link would open in a new tab, but I would stay on my home page so that I could look at the opened link later. Now when I click on a link on my home page, it doesn’t open in a new tab, but rather opens the link in the same tab that I was viewing my home page on. I have checked my settings, and everything appears to be how I want it. I believe that the "Open links from apps next to your active tab" is the setting that should accomplish what I want. I do have it checked, and yet it won't open my links in a new tab. How do I get links to open in a new tab?

Up until today, when I double-clicked a message in the Inbox, it opened the message in a new tab, and focused that tab so I could read the message. Now it creates the tab, but I have to click on that tab to see the message. (I do not want the preview pane, either). I run 150.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 11.

I changed the setting to open it in a new window. That had no effect.

If I have a pinned tab, but I close out of the browser completely, that pinned tab should NOT open there when I relaunch the browser. NO tabs should be opened when I relaunch the browser after it has been completely closed.

PLEASE provide a way to disable this annoying "feature" (i.e., bug).
