We're exploring adopting a default deny policy for Firefox extensions in our enterprise. However when I tested this by creating a custom policies.json Firefox unexpectedly removed all extensions for me, including the ones I thought I had allow listed. Here is my policies.json but just keeping in the Facebook Container add-on to illustrate:

What I would like is to to allow pre-approved extensions (including if they already are installed) and all other types of add-on, but remove and prohibit installation of unapproved extensions.

Hi, I want a website (Protonmail, my email client) to store persistent data. I have enabled it, but I also have all my browser security settings on Strict (also clearing browse data and cookies on each closing of the browser), so now when I have downloaded the data and I close and reopen my browser: it's all gone. I tried looking at making Protonmail an Exception, but that's only possible in relation to Tracking Protection. How to fix this?

Is there a setting that I am missing that allows me to see parts of two months simultaneously? As an example; May 2025 ends on a Friday and I have an event which straddles the two months. Unless I have missed a setting somewhere, I am forced to toggle back and forth between the months to see how the timelines are laid out. Perhaps a minor irritant, but one which I can only recall running into in the Thunderbird calendar.

If there is a setting I am missing, please point my blind eyes to it. If not, this could be a nice improvement. Toggle or no toggle.

How do I access "settings" Can't find it. Why identify "junk" at all if it appears with the good mail. You identify junk but treat it like good mail. Ptesent it in the same column.

Can the mobile version of thunderbird be set up as a POP account rather than Imap? I tried setting it up but it defaulted to imap. When I tried changing the setup parameters to Pop it wouldn't recognize the account.

I've tried unchecking things in settings without success to stop Thunderbird from automatically collecting email when it launches. I need to be in complete control of when Thunderbird collects email from the server. Could this be a Windows 11 issue? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hello: Thanks for creating Firefox. This is my first question after more than a decade using it. I couldn't find proper information about this. This week Firefox started to show a tiny shopping cart icon over the task bar icon of Firefox (image attached). I don´t know what it's and I can't find the functionality that make that appear. So, How do I disable it? I use Firefox everywhere, and I don't like it, specially in my job's laptop as my boss can occasionally see it and it's obviously not work-related in my case. I use chatgpt to get answers and it points to a "Shopping Assistant" feature, but I don't find it. Is it related? The term is so common that I couldn't narrow down to my specific question (what is it and how to disable it)

I use windows 11 and 138.0.4 (64-bit)
