I am a computer scientist doing research on a machine that must occasionally be connected to the internet for very basic operations.

Automatic updates are extremely disruptive, destroy current work, and do damage that must be corrected laboriously.

How do I completely eliminate all automatic updating?

I'm very interested in the VPN service as Mozilla is a company that I trust. However, since I'm in the Netherlands, I cannot use it at this moment. I understand that Mozilla will not give any specific country details. But is there any general schedule of the enrollment of the VPN service to other countries? Like: in the coming year, xx countries will be added. Or every month we want to add x country. Or, in 2021 we aim to have the service available in xx countries? Best regards, Remi

OK, it's been about a week and I've yet to get the Mozilla App to work since windows version windows 20h2 version. The only error the app ever shows are in the event viewer. I've disabled firewalls. 3rd party firewalls , Scanned with 3 different paid AV 's, ransom protection off and just installed windows 10 about two weeks ago. And can not get to the GUI for the app to zip up debugging info cause it never shows. But I'm sure you have another way to get debugging info if needed. Any help appreciated.

HI guys, I enabled the option to launch Mozilla VPN (v 1.3) on start up, and it did launch the next time I booted, but didn't launch each subsequent time. I have checked that the option is still enabled, and it is, but I have to launch it manually every time I switch on my desktop (running windows 10. Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041). It's not a big deal, but I thought that you shoud know. Is there a fix for this? Thanks for your time. Phil.

NOTE : This is not referring to loading the application at startup of the operating system

I can't find a way to make Mozilla VPN software automatically switch to ON when the application starts, I would like this to be an option if possible, unless I am missing something? I am running the Windows 10 and iPhone versions of the application, and I cannot make either of them start automatically.

Does anyone know how to do so? Or is this going to be part of a future update to the service?
