I have a <select> which is inside a <div> that works as a dropdown triggered by a hover. When I move the cursor over the <select> list, it collapses the <div> that contains it making it impossible to interact with it. On top of that, the list looks customized, but I keep experiencing the same if I remove the CSS that customizes the <select>.

I'm very confused because this is an issue I've been experiencing only in Firefox.

Just hover on the text that says "BONKUS: a geometric..." and then click on the buttons that say "Black" or "Left". site https://www.herzbergdesign.com/bonkus

Is it there anything faulty with my code or is it the browser?

If someone could give me a hint on what the issue is that would be highly appreciated.

I've submited my idea almost 3 weeks ago, it still says "Your idea is currently awaiting moderator review. Once approved, it will be visible to all users" and is still hidden. Other ideas I see that have been submitted at the same time as mine are already reviewed and published. So the only thought that comes to mind is that some ideas are just ignored on purpose without any result or feedback. Is there any way to contact moderators of that platform? Has anyone resolved such problems with their "ideas" and how?

Unfortunately I receive in Thunderbird 78.11.0 64bit the umlauts / special characters only as ? question marks. Unsuccessfully tested in Thunderbird settings, text encoding, incoming messages: unicode(utf-8), western(iso-8859-1), western (windows-1252). Much rather I would set the code correctly when sending - but how do I have to set the codepage (maybe in ps) ? Grateful for help, a Seeker... Uli

Whoever thought Firefox 89 was a good idea is not someone with whom I agree. 89 is awful - I disregarded the update notice for days but then got sick of the reminder. BAD idea on my part. Is there any way to get rid of the topmost "tab" - they ARE NOT tabs - bar? I really liked the previous tabs that LOOKED LIKE TABS and DID NOT TAKE UP MORE ROOM on the page. Can I go back to the previous version? This one is really bad. Like, REALLY bad. Firefox "developers" need to give an option to check out the new update before committing to it.

I've experimented with forwarding an email to a cellphone, which is received as an SMS. The problem is all the prefix information (entire From address, To Address, Subject, etc.) exceeds the standard SMS message length of 160 characters. There is no room for the actual message. The phone simply appends the word 'more?'; indicating that there was more that couldn't be included.

It would be very useful if a feature was added to Thunderbird's current email forwarding, whereby the message could be formatted as an SMS that includes only the basic From, and the Message-Body. Of course if the message-body exceeded the SMS length it would be truncated, but it would still be viewable in-part. I currently use a service that forwards SMS to Email; Thunderbird could then forward the emailed SMS to another phone.

I hope this suggestion is considered for future Thunderbird improvements.

Is the Help menu the best way to submit feedback to Mozilla? Does anyone actually read it? I've submitted feedback that way before but it feels like no one saw it.

You don't even get a "sent" confirmation - all I get is a page saying something like "Your feedback will be used to improve Firefox", which doesn't confirm the feedback was sent!

I actually sent feedback about this last year, saying that the "sent" message should be clearer. But who knows if anyone saw it! LOL

I am running an environment using IPSWITCH MAIL SERVER (for 15 years btw). I am running multiple workstations (some on physical some virtual) all on Windows 10. I set up Thunderbird (latest version 64 bit) and create my users per workstation. On each workstation the E-mail sets up and works using 993/465 - SSL/TLS - ENCRYPTED PASSWORD. After set up Thunderbird performs perfectly. On EVERY workstation within one or two days the accounts have to be deleted and re-created USING ALL OF THE EXACT SAME PARAMETERS and Thunderbird works again (for one to two days) and then I need to repeat the SAME exercise. About two dozen repeats now. No changes in the network environment. No changes on the mail server. Thunderbird has given me yeoman's service in two firms for twenty five years now and this has just started this year since February. Any ideas anyone?

I am periodically getting "Alert" when trying to send emails. Sometimes sending works, then later doesn't work. Receiving always works okay. Only sending text message, no attachments, only to one recipient.

The Alert says: The size of the message you are trying to send exceeds a temporary size limit of the server. The message was not sent; try to reduce the message size or wait some time and try again. The server responded: 4.7.1 <unknown[my.ip.address]>: Client host rejected: my.ip.address exceeded hourly recipients threshold.

Seems to me that the error has to be at the server end. I have the same issue on three different computers with different operating systems, and frequently different updates of Thunderbird. When email is working on one system it is working on all; when down on one it's down on all.

We are currently Ziply customers since they took over Frontier. But Ziply says it's not their problem since it's a Frontier.com email address; Frontier says it's not their problem since our account is with Ziply.

The final conclusion from a pleasant (but possibly clueless) Frontier rep was that the problem is with Thunderbird; the main reason being that sending of email always seems to work via web interface.

Any insights appreciated. Thank you.

Google is my default search engine but when I make a search in the address bar it gives me results from https://mybrowser-search.com/search, which is labeled as ' Google Custom Search' on the results page.

This started after updating the browser. Changing my default search engine to Bing gives me normal results on the Bing page. Changing it back had no effect on the Google outcome.
