Youtube Crashing!
I have the famous Youtube crashing issue, and have tried everything on the internet to fix it plus other tweaks. In the end nothing works, and I'm all out of ideas. All I want to know is who do I point the finger at: Firefox, Adobe, or Youtube? I've been using Firefox since release, but this problem is only a Firefox problem, and I'm sick of dealing with it. At the same time I don't want to give up Firefox because Adobe can't program or Youtube has bugs. I've never had any issues with Firefox like this... Sure along the way there has been bugs, but this is getting ridiculous...
Anyway, it would be great to know who is doing it wrong, so I can go s**t in their Cheerios, and let them know how I feel about their product.

If you have submitted crash reports then please post the IDs of one or more recent crash reports that have a "bp-" prefix:
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the IDs of the submitted crash reports on the about:crashes page.
- You can open the about:crashes page via the location bar, like you open a website, or open the crash reports page via "Help > Troubleshooting Information".

You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

It's actually a freezing problem, and not a crashing issue... Sorry I just woke up...
Reproducing the issue is random, but when I scroll over a Youtube video after watching x amount of videos, or just x amount of time FF is open. FF freezes and then I can minimize and maximize FF and it will unfreeze, but if I scroll over the video it freezes again. The only way to fix the issue is to close FF and reopen it until the error happens again.
Stuff that hasn't worked:
- Tweaking addons in about:config
- Disabling HA in Adobe Flash and Windows
- Disabling addons - Which the only one that was questionable was ad block plus.
I tried some other fixes, but it was months ago and forgot what it was exactly. It was stuff people were suggesting on this site.
Anyway, I would love to fix this problem, or at least tell whomever needs to fix it to get on that. Has this been an issue with Linux at all? I can go back to using Gentoo and more on with my life. :P
When it happens again I can try to force a crash to give an error report, but Idk how helpful that would be?

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04's final beta and I can't reproduce this. Can't repro this in W8.1 x64 either. Disabling HA doesn't work for everyone. In fact, I haven't had an issue with Flash in a while.
Have you tried Firefox in Safe Mode to see if it still freezes? Safe Mode disables all extensions and restores your theme to the default along with any toolbar customizations. You can open Firefox in Safe Mode via the Terminal by typing out /path/to/firefox/firefox -safe-mode (default path is /usr/lib/firefox/firefox -safe-mode)
I don't even know why I posted Linux directions in a Windows case.

I've tried forcing a crash, but it just freezes and it won't crash. All I can do at this point is turn on xSplit and just go back to what I was doing on Youtube until it crashes again.
Here is my last crash report... It wasn't related to the same issue, but at least has my FF specs. If people actually read it! -_-

Did you try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox and did you close and restart Firefox after changing this setting?

I wrote that because it looks that the crash report has to do with the graphics display or rendering.

You can try to update to Firefox 28 or even try the current Firefox 29 beta version.

So this freeze issue isn't related to this crash... It was just some random out of the blue crash... I just posted it so you can see addon versions, settings, etc...
Honestly... I was offended by you asking me if I restarted FF like I'm some Windows retard who only knows how to fix things by reinstalling. Can we please start presenting real solutions rather than the same nonsense that I've stated I've already tried. If that's a problem is there a higher level of support, or is this it... -_-

Sadly I'll just use IE x64 which ad block plus works fine with IE, and is the only addon I need. I never thought this day would come... -_-
