Ever since you upgraded my Mozilla home page, I have had nothing but problems. At first only a few of my bookmarks appeared, but after a few weeks, they all began to show. However, I can't send bcc emails and of the emails I do wish to forward, my messages to prior forwarded emails show up on each additional forwarded email. This is not an improvement.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". Please seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

Before Yahoo upgraded this last time, I was able to use bcc emails using Firefox and now I can't. Also, I have access to Explorer and bcc emails don't work on that either. Since I used to be able to use this feature before Yahoo upgraded (some upgrade) and now I can't, I don't understand why it is my browser's problem and not Yahoo. B

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
