When I delete an email it takes about 10 seconds to respond
When I delete an email it takes about 10 seconds to respond before its deleted. This just started happening. When I deleted before this started, it would be an instant delete. All other functions on Thunderbird seem to be working OK.

DId already compact your folder, maybe you have many messages stored:
Try compact your Inbox and Thrash or all folders!

Try start Thunderbird in Safe Mode:
If the problem dont occur in Safe Mode, try repair your Inbox, to do this click with right button mouse in the Inbox' >> Properties >> Repair Folder
Thanks for your reply but it did not solve my problem. When I delete an email It still takes about 10 seconds to delete the email.
