How can I permanently delete the "Pass Show" PUP program?
I keep getting these annoying links that are double-underlined in my browser web-sites. I have disabled the Pass Show add-on. I have uninstalled the Pass Show program using the XP Control Panel and reset Firefox from the Troubleshooting menu but the pass show double-underlined links keep showing up.
hello Chindi, when you have it present, could you go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information, copy its exact name, version and id from the listing there and paste it here into a forum reply - this could make it possible for mozilla to take further action on it...Read this answer in context 👍 0

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
