hello Tjahan86, your crash report somehow didn't get submitted. please just post your latest few crash IDs starting with bp- into a reply here, as this will probably give us a better understanding what may be triggering those crashes.

thanks a lot for reporting back with your IDs - unfortunately they don't give a clear picture on what's triggering those crashes. i've noticed that you're using avast, that was reported to cause similar problems recently, because it is interfering with the traffic and rendering in firefox. could you try to install that once for testing purposes and maybe use an alternative AV software like the free ms security essentials ?

hi phillip thank you soo much for your time. Ok I will try uninstalling avast and seing how things go, fingers crossed it solves the problem ;) Thanks

Hi I tried uninstalling avast and for a while i thought i had fixed the problem, but it has started again today and keeps crashing. Can the high memory usage be causing these crashes??? my last few crash reports are here

Yes your crashes may well be memory related.

If they stopped when you did not have Avast installed that may be the answer. So as to remain safe install the free Microsoft AV

  1. Try Firefox again without Avast.
  2. If Firefox still crashes try with all plugins disabled and in Firefox Safe Mode
  3. Post back with how you get on.
  4. If you get crashes in Firefox safemode and with all plugins disabled please include crash IDs
  5. We can investigate Avast again later, but there is no point in using it if it crashes Firerfox.
IIRC Avast does not fully support or recommend using Firefox. It is quite possible Avast related software will not be compatible with Firefox.

A pity, that did not work yet then.

  • You do have high memory usage again.
  • One of those crashes was a Flashlayer related crash.
  • Only one was from safe mode.

I personally do not understand your Crash Reports and reasons for the Crashes but

  • With all of your crashes the sessionstore files will likely be getting messed up. (So lets try testing in new profile, to by pass those files)
  • The none FlashPlayer crashes relate to Java Script or the JavaScript JIT compiler. (So let's disable HA & JIT compiler {it is also XP and likely old))

Would you please try the following to see if this helps

  1. Create a new clean profile for testing purposes. Run Firefox from that.
As before in Firefox's safe mode and with plugins disabled. (Safe Mode also takes care of HA)
  2. Also disable the JIT Compiler by modifying preferences using about:config
    1. Navigate to about:config
    2. Filter for the preference javascript.options.baselinejit Right click and toggle to false.
