Turned on my PC this evening & started receiving small ads from Revenue.com in lower corner of screen when using Firefox. Is this new and can it be stopped?
The ads change with EVERY screen change.

What can I tell you: advertising software isn't always transparent about its activities.
If this began after you installed some free software, check for any other unwanted items in the Windows Control Panel, Uninstall a Program. Clicking the "Installed on" column heading should bring the most recently installed items to the top.

You may have an unwanted extension that is injecting the ads into sites. Try this:
Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that change the ads you see? Can you post back with the names(s) of the culprit(s)?
It appears to have stopped after I disabled the only extension I had in the list, which was SaveValet. Not sure what this had to do with the ad site of Revenue.com, which was the name of the site on all of the ads.

I checked the Programs list and the last program installed was early December, 2013. It does appear that the ads have stopped now that I disabled the one extension. I am going to consider this "Solved" and I thank you for your patience and support.
