How can one add a "pause" for dialing phone extensions or to VoIP services?
I'm running Firefox OS 1.1 in a UK ZTE Open (from Ebay Store).
I would like to call foreign numbers through a VoIP service (Jumblo, to be precise). In their website they have instructions to place a call directly instead of having to dial the target number everytime one calls their access number. It requires to dial: (access number)+(pause)+(target number).
It gives general instructions that in some phones the pause can be inserted by holding the '0', '*', or '#' keys; I tried all these approaches but none of them worked in my phone.
What is the right way to add a dialing pause in Firefox OS???

For certified apps, there is an API that is still WIP. You might want to discuss these with the development team. Or is it that you are using these APIs, but are not able to insert the pause required for the Jumblo number to let you enter the number you want to dial?

I'm trying to save a contact number that includes: (Jumblo Number) + (pause) + (target number) + #
I'm doing this from the standard "Contacts" and "Dialer" apps. I'm not trying to code a new app. I believe it is a basic function that should be included in the standard apps of the phone. Even "dumbphones" can dial pauses if contacts are properly added.
I'm not a programmer and I wasn't expecting this to require to write a whole application for that...

Do you tried use the "+" symbol?
Press and hold the number "0" to get the "+".
@jterrones, I think I misunderstood your query. So, based on your latest response, you are trying to dial the number directly and store the same in your contacts - is that right? Like @acweller mentioned, you can long-press the 0 to get a +.
But if that is not what you are looking for and are trying to store a contact into the phone, which requires you to wait for the Jumblo number's dialtone to be returned before you dial the actual number, then I'm not sure if there an option to wait when you store/dial from a contact. Is that what you are looking for? Others in the community can correct me if I am wrong.

That's what I'm trying to do. But adding the '+' sign between numbers (by holding down '0') doesn't work: The '+' sign appears but when calling the contact the phone only dials the access number, not the contact number.
