This same problem has appeared time to time, and i don't know why i cannot get past it now.

I have a folder in my bookmarks that has 1 bookmark inside. The bookmark shows as "blank" when pointing a mouse to it via the bookmarks-menu. But the same bookmark shows it's true name when browsing via "show all bookmarks" function.

However i cannot delete it no matter what. It has the delete option, but it does not do anything.

How to remove the bookmark and the unwanted folder it is in?

Trying to clear cache with ccleaner and restarting pc/firefox does not help. I have the latest version of FF.

Chosen solution

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
