I have firefox 24 and have "never check for updates" turned off, but he still automatically update to version 25. I don't want to do this because of safe internet banking with KASPERSKY internet security2013. This does not work with firefox 25.

I don't know why the option to never check for Firefox updates didn't work for you (that setting is accessible from the Options window - Advanced panel). It's not a good idea to disable automatic updates, though, since those include Firefox security fixes.

You can contact Kaspersky Support to see when they will fix their add-ons to work with Firefox 25. In case it helps, I found the following thread on their forum:

Thanks for the comment. Still no support for secure Internet banking with Firefox 25. A recent update for "KIS" 2014, still gives the same problem. The problem lies with Mozilla, they update too short on each other instead of every 4 to 6 weeks. Regards, Alan.
