I initially thought it may be a hardware problem, but working fine now. Also, when I moved the courser around, there was a multi-colored rectangular bar that seemed to be attached to it....wierd. As anyone experienced this? Thanks for reading this message, and I appreciate any input someone may have. - Mike

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
