Want to restor my old hm. page.

My home page that I have used for years seems to have been replaced with"How to simplified" a how to & do it your self web. Which I went to for some ideas. And now it's in the place of my old hm. page. Can you please help an older man, (not old man) get it fixed?

hello G.S.Dangerfield,first please reset firefox. afterwards it should be possible to set your homepage again through firefox > options > general.

in addition you might want run a full scan of your system for malware with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page

You can uninstall the "HowToSimplified" extension that shows in the System Details List.

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).
