My files keep stopping short when I attempt to download them. Is there a setting or a way to fix this?

I am attempting to download a file on my computer through Firefox. Its a document for a class and the file isn't big, but I am unable to complete it.

This issue is starting to happen with everything I try to download through Firefox now. I will walk away from my computer while its downloading and when I comeback the file is cancelled due to not being able to be completed.

Is this due to a setting or is there a way to fix this issue?
