how do i lock the screen when i'm done with the phone?(before putting it back in my bag so apps wont get activated by random touch)

screen gets locked automatically after a certain time of inactivity, but i would like to do it manually and instantly,like on old phone(i think it was menu+* or somthing).

To lock the screen, press the power button once.
