My old laptop is Windows Vista. It has been running Firefox browser without a hitch until Friday night. The pages are now all jumbled up and blue highlights.

please try to clear the cache & cookies from the sites you're having the issues and reload the pages. also make sure that you have not set the high-visibility theme in the windows control panel / appearance settings.
