Data Allowance

Posted

I am with the o2 UK network. I am landed with heavy data charges as overshooting 100MB per day. My usage reports under 100MB per month. Something is grossly wrong. I assume the phone is hemorrhaging data. I expected better than alpha software!

Mozilla is not responsible for over data charges. Are you using the Usage application? Also, the usage application gives you the ability to warn you when you exceed a certain amount of usage. The usage application may not be accurate but we are working on making it better. The usage application can not be used to compare to what you carrier is recording or tracking. You carrier has a different tracking system and sometimes that is available for you to track your own data usage.

Please delete question (mods). It's all to do with my data allowance. I am paying upfront as no data allowance bolt on. I will upgrade to a more suitable tariff.

You do understand this is for questions. If you want to save data usage you can disable images.

  • You can install QuickJava (to easily disable and enable JavaScript, automatic loading of images, and other content)

Also questions can only be locked, not deleted.
