THere is a popup on mainstream facebook connect that tells you your version of firefox is outdated and directs you to update it via the button they provide

I was at a mainstream website, when I tried to post an article from that website to my facebook page. I got a popup that told me my version of firefox was out of date and directed me to click their button to update. I NEVER do this. I followed proceedure by clicking myfirefox button, then the help, then about firefox. I learned that I had the latest version and decided to try to warn you about this potential problem for any who click that button. You really shouldn't make it so hard for a user to report a threat like this. It may save you time and effort if you learn about threats quicker.
