My dictionary that is built in firefox is PT-PT, however it is without the new rules, so i want to update it.

if i install the new PT-PT dictionary available on firefox dictionaris list, that new one will work, however, i will end up with TWO different pt-pt dictionaries, and i don't want that.

Chosen solution

You can delete the dictionary files of the old dictionary by deleting the two files in the dictionaries folder in the Firefox program folder.

  • (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
  • (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"

info: i will end up with 2 dictionaris when i right click and go to "languages", but in "tools\extras" it will only display the one i installed, not the built in.

what i need is not to see the built in when i right click to change languages.
