In FF 21 I could see my IE Favorites, they have disappeared in FF 22.

I used Plain Old Favorites to get my IE Favorites while using FF. This no longer works in FF22. Is there a fix or setting for me to be able to use my IE Favorites? I have gone back to FF 21 so your trouble shooting app isn't going to pick up the problem.

hello, in firefox 22 the API to access the bookmarks has changed, so the addon would need updating by its developer to continue to work with firefox 22 and upwards. there is no easy fix available on your end unfortunately...

PlainOld Favorites is dead for Firefox 22 and above. It would need a complete re-working to be compatible and the original developer isn't using or developing for Firefox any longer.

My advice is to import your Favorites into Firefox, and if you want exactly the same bookmarks in both Firefox and IE, using a "synchronizing" program which has cross-browser support.

To get your Favorites into Firefox, this is the drill:
In IE:
File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file

then in Firefox:
Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file

Or use the "import from other browsers" feature in Firefox.

Thought I would mention there is a related thread that may also be worth looking at

As this is a thread mentioning the older Firefox 21 I will now lock it.
