</p><p>As for what I'm trying to do, I have "Tell me when a website asks to store data for offline use" checked under tools/options/advanced. I then right-click the page for which I want to allow offline storage and choose "view page info"/permissions and I uncheck "use default" under "maintain offline storage" and choose the allow radio button. After closing the window the change has no effect. Also, if I immediately right-click and go to the same setting, "use default" is checked again.

</p><p>If you set the default for all websites to block then Firefox might indicate that the default is used if you also try to set this for a specific website.
