when loading page or when doing some operations on page it hesitates then starts running again like a hesitation. It does not have any rhyme or reason as to what page it is as it does it on any page I open and not every time.????This has started since Firefox 19.

hello, you have a lot of extensions and customizations which will make it hard to troubleshoot or pinpoint the issue. if you want to you could reset firefox have a fresh start...

Do you keep a large history?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

I have over time reduced the amount of extensions I had and I clear my history regularly I have not added any extensions in the time the hesitations started ,could it have something to do with Flash as I had to revert to 10.3 version due to crashes with Flash. I can't see that the problem is toward me ,I think the constant updating of Firefox has some bugs in it.
