How can I get firefox not the useless "my websearch home page" that you have ?upgraded? me to
I don't understand 90% of what you have on your website and the answers you give . I am not tech savvy
Forget you are talking to someone who understands computers, I do not UNDERSTAND them so need instructions that are simple, very simple
Problem I want to use a search engine that is helpful and "MyWebSearch" whatever is not 10% of the original Morilla Firefox ( if that is what I had I know it was something to do with firefox). You upgraded??? my original fire fox about 6 weeks ago and everything takes longer to complete with MyWebSearch?? and sends me to lots of places that I didn't ask for.

You may have accepted an add-on that was bundled with another program you installed. First step is to disable all nonessential, recently, and unrecognized extensions here:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
If in doubt, disable it. Then restart Firefox.
To reset your search providers back to Google, you can use this add-on:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/searchreset/
(If you prefer to do it manually, we can go over the steps.)
That should work for search, but if other settings are affected, such as your home page or new tab page, please post back on those.
Your Mind Spark toolbar in your plug-ins is also part of your problem - in the same stable as My Web Search. These won't have come from Firefox. Greeting card sites is one known source. Google and try the Search Box above for information and removal advice.
