Hi there,
Could it be that you made that link your home page setting in Firefox? You can control which site Firefox loads when launching by modifying this setting: How to set the home page
If that doesn't solve the problem, I will need more information from you, such as: when does this page appear in Firefox, is it when you load a new window, or is it randomly in the middle of surfing on some other website?
Please get back to us and we'll be able to sort this thing out for you.
Cheers, David
You can check the home page setting.
Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' symbols.
- Tools > Options > General > Startup: Home page
Try to use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.
Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).
If you do not keep changes after a restart then see:
What is the link?
I have the same problem, except mine opens a random website I had never been to before, it's one of those add websites, but it does randomly, I could click anywhere on the screen and it'll just pop up, it won't even let me log off Facebook
