Firefox 20.0.1 for Android only loads the desktop version of the adwords site on my Samsung Galaxy S2. There is no mobile site link visible. This has been the case for ever. I was expecting it to be fixed in an upgrade that never came.

In fact, Adwords only seems to recognize FF as an older browser and presents me with a notice that I should use a newer version.

thx in advance.

We don't have any control over what content Google Adwords sends us. If they send us desktop content then that is what is displayed. Adwords support can be reached at https://support.google.com/adwords/

If you want to try pretending to be a different browser using Phony. However this may result in a completely unusable Adwords site.

Then Google have won!

I can no longer have Firefox on my mobile device. No matter what other benefits there might be. This is Mozilla's problem - not mine, except that it creates a more Google-centric world for me, which no one surely wants.

As someone who runs websites you must understand that the person who owns the website has control over what is sent to the user.

We can plead with Google's AdWords team but that only goes so far. Complaints from actual users tend to go farther than ones from the development team.
