My main browser is Firefox and I do love it but since last week two problems have appeared. First when I put a web address in multi tabs appear. That is annoying but when I select one of the tabs is disapears. If this had happened before , I would just change browser. can anyone help me

A good example is like now I clicked the link to see the reply to my question and not one tab opened but 2 did and I did only click the link once, The tab opened are exactly the same. Can yu suggest what is wrong, I should of said that I am running firefox for linux Can you help
