I decided to use Firefox on recommendations and was having some issues with Chrome. It worked wonderfully until the last 3 days and it just continually crashes. Then when I go back to restart, it says that it cannot restore due to what may be the page or pages I was visiting. I have tried every one of the troubleshooting issues I could understand and follow including safe mode and even reset, and still crashes. I was in the middle of researching for my work which is time-sensitive and it crashes, causes me to lose valuable time and even money. It crashes in the middle of watching a short video. Crashes. I have dozens of reports now, in a very short time and I'm about 2 seconds from uninstalling and going back to Chrome. At least it didn't crash when the wind blew.

We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
- Enter about:crashes in the Firefox location bar (that's where you enter your website names) and press Enter. You should now see a list of submitted crash reports.

I reported 8 the day before, not reporting everyone I had. AND to top it all off, I just had another crash trying to type this reply and when it tries to open back up, I get that oops sorry cannot open blah, blah, restore stuff. This is killing me in time spent.
You could try to turn off hardware Acceleration in the options.
You have windows 8 perhaps and a radeon graphic card? Under some combinations Firefox 19 is crashing.
What you also could try out is a recent Beta of Firefox 20.
While it is still needing some polish work, most stuff should work the same way as in the stable versions.
Good luck :)
Saphir, please read the crash reports before offering advice. The user has Firefox on Windows XP (which the crash reports clearly show).
Jamie, do you have Trusteer Rapport installed? This is most likely the cause of the crashes. Can you disable it if it's installed? Also, try to Reset Firefox Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
YES< my old bank required that so I will remove and do a restart. THAnks
