Generally you can't download desktop programs on a phone because they aren't compatible. And if you can get them to download, they won't open or install.
My interest in downloading desktop programs is just for buy some time. I want to download them through my phone and use at PC.
Check with the company that makes your phone. Some Android phones can enable "USB Mass Storage Mode" when you connect them to your computer. When you do that you can browse the files on the phone and copy things to your computer.
