I tried to play a video sent to me by a friend and the website launches but the area where videos usually play is either white or black. There is no play icon and there are no controls of any kind. If I hadn't seen it when it was working correctly, I wouldn't know something was missing except that the video doesn't start. It plays fine on Internet Explorer but not on Firefox. I have tried to update Adobe Flash Player but can't install it as a plugin. I've disabled Java because of the stated security threats and now I can't re-install Java; it is interrupted by something and can't complete. I've disabled my anti-virus software but that doesn't seem to make any difference. I would reset Firefox to its original configuration but then I would lose all my bookmarks and customized settings. I hope someone can help; I don't want to use IE.
