Since you upgraded me to 18.0.1. when ever I do anything with jave I get this warning screen.
THis plugin has security vuklnerabilities, and even if I click to activate, my applications do not work now. I have had to switch back to I.E. Firefox says I as up to date with the plugings. Do you plan of fixing this anytime soon?

I'm trying to get an answer on this too, but the only response I got was the-edmeister telling me I was rude and impatient. I guess that's what they call "determination to get a problem solved" now...
Maybe I wouldn't have been rude if I had gotten a response in a timely manner...
AliceWyman, there is an issue with the so-called "solution" you posted.
See, my browser doesn't look like the examples given on the link you posted. I don't have the "red plugin icon". I don't have the Activate All Plugins dropdown menu (or if I do, I have no clue how to access it). So in short, to me, your solution... doesn't work.
Take the example webpage they used, Java's test page. My topic has examples of what my (up-to-date) browser looks like when I go to that page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/947893
Sure doesn't look like the example, does it?
ponyparty, your issue is different, possibly a Java detection issue which could be caused by updating with an outdated JavaFX still installed. Ref: *https://www.java.com/en/download/help/firefox_java.xml
I also posted a response in the thread you started, which is where you should reply: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/947893
