When I click to go to a second window on Ebay, the text turns to Chinese even tho I am in the USA .

I have two problems that I think are related because they happen only on Firefox, no other browser;

For example, I look at an item on ebay then I click to see the details or a different picture of this item, the second window will go all Chinese, then back to English when I hit the back arrow. This happens randomly, may not occur for days, then it occurs every time I go to Ebay.

A second problem is that my screen appears to compress horizontally to about 1/4", then fill the entire screen with these narrow strips, top to bottom. This happens whenever I am on the internet at any site using Firefox.

If I use IE I have none of these problems.

The local computer pro/geek is stumped for the first time and he is very good.
