Firefox locking up computer

Random locking up from firefox to the point I have to do a hard restart every time. No change if I have one window open or more running heavy usage or not. Oddly even if computer locked up streaming sound will still play in the background even though no buttons working.

Have done a full reinstall of firefox, removed all plugins and add ons and updated still happens.

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
