Other friends of mine have no problems on their computors, even trying with my laptop it is still the same problem. This is driving me nuts It also tells me at the bottom of the screen that I am connected to webmail road runner .com

This sounds like a problem on the Roadrunner server if it happens in other browsers aw well.

Did you try to contact Roadrunner and ask them about this issue?

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
