We are looking to roll out Mozilla Firefox before the 15th of January due to google stopping use of IE8. I am wanting to know any known issues with firefox with SIS, Powerschool, Scholastic, Reading counts, Smartnote or any other school related software.

There are no known problems, no. However you should do your own testing on a school computer before roll-out (just FYI, Firefox is just a web browser, and as such probably won't interfere with the performance of other programs on that computer).
