You can't recover any data on the Sync server without having the correct recovery key because the sync key is used locally to encrypt your data before sending it to the sync server.

Did you backup the Firefox profile folder?

In that case the sync (recovery) key may have been saved in the signons.sqlite data file that stores encrypted passwords.

You can find the sync account password and the sync (recovery) key in the password manager on computers where a sync account with a specific e-mail address has been set up.

yeah that's the problem that i didn't even backup my old profile !!, and i already know about this way for recovering my old data from (( old profile folder )) !! ,

i reads some of the posts here and i find some of them was helpful to me and i thank you  for helping me cor-el , 

but is there a software for recovring old profile folder ! ? and what is the name of the software and how can i use it to find the old profile folder ! ( steps plz ) , btw i tried recova & Stellar Phoenix Recovery PRO software for trying to recover the folder << but did't help me that much ! << maybe because i didn't use it on the right way !! , maybe if just some one here give me the best software to recover (( the profile folder of firefox )) and show me the steps and how to use the software that's will be realy good and very helpful ,

Did you reinstall windows on your laptop, or what did you do to lose your original profile?

@Tylerdowner no , i didn't reinstall windows on my laptop but i did a big mistake when i uninstall my firefox ! i think you know what was the mistake ((remove my old data )).. did u see my second post  !! can help me with this ?.. any ideas ?!

You can try to run a recovery program (recuva, or the like) but that is a slim chance. Otherwise, you can't get that data back after deleting it.

The about:synckey extension is for Mobile Firefox (Android) to pull up the Sync Key, which isn't displayed as in the Desktop versions of Firefox.

Do you have any other "devices" connected to that Sync account?

@the-edmeister yah i know it's mobile android firefox , no i don't have any other devices connected only my laptop , but i lost it like i said from the first place .. so this not work for me ha = ) Right ? ..

The aboutsynckey extension works on desktop computers as well.

You can look at this version of the about:synckey extension that I have modified to show the sync key in current Firefox versions (desktop and mobile).

@cor-el @the-edmeister : right now i have my laptop and my mobile (android) and i have the firefox on them both firefox 11 for the android phone and firefox 17 or 18 for my laptop and i already have the extensions ((about:synckey)) installed on them both my phone and my laptop with lastet version !!..

the Question is this method can give me the recovery key !!? ,, cuz like i said i already uninstalled my old firefox and deleted my old data ! , you wanna tell me this works even if i don't have any of my old profile data ? ..dont i need any data to make this extension work ? ..so it's that simple all what i need is this extension to have my recovery key without my old profile data  ?! is that what you are trying to say ?! ,,

i know i'm Asking a lot of questions ! but just to make it clear to you or to any one have the same problem like me = )
