1.PerfLogs, 2.Program Files, 3.ProgramData, 4.Users, 5.Windows and 6.autoexec

These were the six folders listed inside windows.old folder. I tried to paste a snapshot of that folder, but I don't know how..

Hi,

You want to copy your firefox profile across. If you have sync set up and running on another PC, that's the easiest way to copy things across to a new install ( see the article on adding a device to sync.

If not, you can copy the folder that contains your profile across. Have a look at the support article on profiles ; there's a section on how to copy without opening firefox, which should point you to the right directory to copy across.

The "Application Data" folder in XP/Win2K and the "AppData" folder in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders.
