Harddrive died, need to get my sync data from old firefox to new
So far all methods of getting data off the drive as failed, otherwise I'd just rip the app data out of it....
The real issue here is that I had about 30 tabs open, and a ton of important bookmarks I added recently that i didnt get a chance to backup manually. I figured firefox sync would work but so far it hasnt done anything. I must be doing something wrong. I think it might've actually overwritten my sync data with my blank one..which would be freaking terrible, years of important data is on that account. This whole process was really confusing and none of the tech support topics on here have helped.

Do you have te original recovery key, user name and password you used to set up Sync? if so, then you may be able to pull the information off. Please note, sync isn't for backup, and shouldn't be trusted to reliably backup your data.
I do have the original key yes. It tried it and it said the key is invalid....What happened was when I loaded up my browser I was very confused. I went to sync and chose "I dont have access to the other device" and it started "uploading local data". IMO, there needs to be a warning when you choose that option saying it will replace the data. My phone actually has sync data from a month ago but I have no idea had to extract it.
Is it possible to rollback the sync to Dec 24th?
Or how do I extract my sync data from my android? The instructions online can only seem to tell me how to create a NEW sync using the empty default start page, however since I have my old sync that I want to extract, these instructions become useless. Any help extracting the data would be veeeeery much appreciated.

Is there an email address I can email for support?
No, this is the official support site.
There is no way to get that sync data back. Please note that Firefox Sync is not designed for nor meant to be used for Backup, if you use it as such you should expect data loss.
I know it's not meant for backup, but then there should definitely be a warning added in the situation I described above. When you click "I dont have access to the other device" " It should give a warning saying "Your sync data will be overwritten" or something like that. The instructions and such were not written well for this situation.
Is there absolutely no way to extract the data from my android? I've been looking for 3rd party solutions to no avail so far. And since you didn't answer it before, I'm guessing a rollback to Dec.24th on my sync-data is no-go. I still have the original sync key if that would make a difference at all on your end.
