</p><p>It became a serious problem for me where apparently my history had become so huge that it was badly affecting the browser performance (not to mention driving me crazy). Perhaps whatever algorithm they're using needs another look. Do you know if the developers monitor these form posts?

I don't think there is a built-in way to prune based on age.
