Is there a centralized database for certificates in Firefox? If not, what is the best way to update certificates in the enterprise?

I am trying to enter a new certificate into Authorities. I wanted to automate the entry of this new certificate. Can it be scripted? Is there a central database for certificates in the browser? Is there a better way to update the browser than updating each profile?
