I have an IIS7 FTP7.5 server on Windows 2008 R2. I can connect in passive mode from IE8, IE9, Chrome, WinSCP, and FileZilla just fine, but with FireFox (v17) I can connect but cannot get a file listing. The server is set up as plain, non-ssl, port 21 ftp but does request data channels in a restricted range (50000-50999), but my understanding (limited) is that the client should get the range from the server so they agree on a port in the range that is provided. Again, what confuses me mostly is that all the other clients can work in passive mode (they are set not to fall back to active, and I see the PASV accepted in the clients that show what's happening (WinSCP and FileZilla)). Firefox can connect to folders on the server if the folder is know/specified but cannot list files/contents. I have tried turning off the server firewall and connecting from the server itself with the same results. Any suggestions?
